And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born-- to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Through the years, their roster has prospered, changing many times, but their glory has never been denied! Heed the call, then-- for now, the Avengers Assemble!

Phoenix History

  1. Phoenix appears in the X-Wars world screaming in pain as his body is consumed by fire.
  2. Phoenix is captured by the Hunter.
  3. Phoenix is brought to an underground lab. They torture him for information. While here his ancient ancestors come to him in a dream and reward him with the powers of their Chi. Phoenix is renamed, and becomes the one of lore. He has become Phoenix, reborn in fire. He breaks from his chains and escapes the lab.
  4. Phoenix moves around the country until he is recruited into the ranks of the Avengers.
  5. Phoenix and the Avengers are attacked by D'neph'Esh, Phoenix's evil brother. D'neph'Esh attacks and nearly kills Black Widow and Dagger. Phoenix fights him, and the fight is close. But D'neph'Esh has gotten a cloak that protects him from his brothers powers of Chi. This gives him the advantage to win. Just as he swings the killing strike, Shatter Star attacks and cuts off D'neph'Eshs hand. D'neph'Esh runs away.
  6. Phoenix is named leader of the Avengers.
  7. Kaleb and Soul Sinister attack Kira. Phoenix moves to assist the woman, and fights of Soul Sinister and Kaleb. Kaleb tesseracts away leaving a large bomb. Kira is killed.
  8. Phoenix makes an announcement to the world that the Avengers are reborn, and were making a stand. So began the cause to end the reign of super-villians and bring about peace. War was declared on this day, and all villians were warned.
  9. When the CS traveled back in time, a temporal wave hit the future. While attempting to stop the CS, Phoenix was sent to an unstated century where he fought along side the futures Captain America and Thor. He then returned to our time to finish his mission. He now wields both Thors hammer and Captain America's shield.
  10. He went shopping for many items. Including mines, shields, and launch pad space at NASA.
  11. While at NASA he and Ultimatum were attacked by his brother and Penance. Affecting a draw, all four left the battlefield.
  12. Phoenix headed to DC where he confronted the Grey King, Shadowkat, Spike and Penance trying to prevent them from conquering America.
