Team History

  1. It was a time of darkness and shadow. A time of death and deceit. The heroes of old had passed on, and the world itself cried out for heroes. From this death came a spark of life, and from this spark grew a fire. Like the Phoenix of lore, heroes sprang from the death pangs of the world. And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth's mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were reborn-- to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand! Their glory will never been denied for they are the Avengers! Heed the call, then-- for once again, the Avengers Assemble!
  2. Widow became leader of the Avengers. She quickly recruited Dagger and Shatter Star. Soon she recruited Phoenix to the team.
  3. D'neph'Esh attacked. He servely injured Dagger and Widow. Phoenix suffered three dagger wounds at the mans hands before Shatter Star cut off D'neph'Esh's hand. Dagger fell into a Coma, Widow took a leave of absense. Phoenix became the new leader.
  4. Fitzroy and Bantam attacked the Avengers. Phoenix held them off by himself until McVey and Mystical showed. Fitzroy was sent back to the future where he is thought to have died from a nuculear bomb.
  5. Mystical joins the team. Bazooka Joe shows up asking to join the team.
  6. Temperal wave hits, team travels to Baltimore to use TDC to go back and stop it. McVey joins Avengers as a temporary member. Chance appears, and is drawn to Mystical.
  7. The Avengers are assaulted by Testament and his four horsemen. Shatter Star is serverely injured.
  8. The Avengers go back in time. But with the merging of the magical and telepathic planes, they are prevented from stopping the CS. Rampant Temporal energy assaults all the members leaving them cast about in the time stream, alone and lost.
  9. A time wave caused by the CS forced the Avengers to go back in time. But an unknown energy wave prevented them from stopping the crime. They returned again, the proper time, and this time they were successful with the aid of the Continuim of forcing the CS out of the past and repairing the time line.
  10. Phoenix and Ultimatum are ambused by D'neph'Esh and Penance at NASA. After a long struggle D'neph'Esh and Ultimatum go down hard. Phoenix and Penance continue the battle, only to have Mystical bring them back to the Mansion to care for Ultiamtums wounds.
  11. The team went to the streets of NY to battle Zombies. There they fought Machina, the Uberfetus, Fallen-in-Man, Aziel, and met Nis.
